Hire Rules and Cost for the SVRFC

COSTS
Members - $200
Non Members - $350 + $150 bond = $500


Full payment is to be made 1 week prior to function.  Bond will be paid on Sunday after inspection by committee member.

(Hire of Gymnasium for an additional $150)

REQUIREMENTS
Private/Members Functions
  • Anyone wanting to higher the Stokes Valley Rugby Club (SVRFC) for any function must complete an application form
  • Applications can be completed online on our website: Click here or for a paper copy please contact Janine Potroz on 027 2378740 or 04 5826828.
  • All applications will be considered by the committee at the next committee meeting
  • All applications must be received at least 1 month prior to the function being held
  • A Special Licence is required if the function is to be run outside of the club hours (refer below for club hours) whether the function is a private function or run by the club
  • If the function is to be run privately you must supply a Bar Manager (If unable to supply own bar manager for private functions the club will supply one for you, there maybe an additional charge)
  • You must supply security for the entrance of the club and for the supervision and control of the event
  • No alcohol is to be taken into the club or removed from the club
  • You must supply food and non alcoholic refreshments at the event
  • All visitors to the club must sign the visitors book
  • If additional tables and chairs are required, this is the responsibility of the person/s hiring the club
  • If entertainment is required, this is the responsibility of the person/s hiring the club
  • The use of the kitchen is permitted however you must supply your own equipment/utensils, bowls etc (oven, microwave and fryer can be used but must be cleaned after use)
  • Clean up of the club must be completed the next day
  • To receive your bond, the club must be left in the same condition as it was hired
  • A set of keys and security code will be allocated for private functions
  • Keys can be picked up early for set up of the club prior to the function being held
  • Hours for keys - 4pm Friday pick up and handed back 11am Sunday after clean up

    Club Hours
    •  Tues – Thurs 5pm – 10pm
    •  Fri 5pm – 12am
    •  Sat 11am – 12am
    •  Sun 11am – 10pm

NOTE: Please note that the club will not be hired out for birthdays 20 years of age or younger.  All other functions are to be approved by the committee.

CLEAN UP

Clean up after a function must be completed by midday the next day unless otherwise advised.
The clean-up includes:
•  Vacuum the whole club (including upstairs)
•  Men’s and women’s toilets and basins to be cleaned and floors mopped
•  Bar and Kitchen floors mopped
•  Floor in lounge to be mopped
•  All tables and leaner’s to be wiped cleaned
•  Bar to be left in a clean and tidy state
•  All rubbish is to be removed from the club (includes bottles and cans etc)
•  If the gymnasium is being used please ensure the floors are cleaned and please refrain from wearing high heels (stilettos) on the gym floor surface, flat shoes only
